Busy Bees Foundation School builds confident, capable learners from Nursery through Primary 6 - nurturing the Head, the Heart and the Hands in a community that feels like family.
“Culture, Skills and Hard Work for Positive Transformation”
Our Story
Busy Bees Foundation School opened its doors in 2013 with just 70 nursery pupils in Giheka Village, Kagugu Cell, Kinyinya Sector. Today more than 334 learners walk through our gates across a nursery section of 3 levels and a primary section of 6 classes - six promotions strong at the Primary Leaving Examination.
We are striving to offer quality education in conformity with Rwanda’s Competency-Based Curriculum, nurturing a holistic child who performs well academically, who loves and cares for those around them, and who works with their own hands, responsible for their actions.
“Education is a conduit for both intellectual and personal growth.”
Mrs. Berthe FURAHA K. - School PrincipalOur Philosophy
We nurture a holistic child: one who performs well academically, who loves and cares for the people around them, and who uses their own hands to work, responsible for their acts.
Intellectual growth through rigorous, competency-based academics across every core subject of the CBC.
Moral and emotional development anchored in our core values and a Christ-centered community life.
Practical, hands-on responsibility built through ICT, the arts, sport and everyday school life.
Academics
We teach every subject prescribed by the CBC, and go further: French is our medium of instruction from Nursery through Primary 2, while English takes over from Primary 3 upward - equipping every learner to communicate proficiently in both languages, alongside globally required ICT skills.
School Life
Thirteen clubs and activities round out every learner’s week: from Karate national champions to Debate, Environment and Cultural Troupe.
